1. Definitions

• Company:A1 Taxi

• Customer:Any individual or entity using the services of A1 Taxi.

• Driver: A person licensed to operate a taxi or private hire vehicle for A1 Taxi.

• Service:Transportation services provided by A1 Taxi, including but not limited to airport transfers, private hire, and city-to-city travel.

2. Booking and Confirmation

• Bookings can be made through our website, by phone at 01530 880880, or via email at info@a1taxi.taxi.

• All bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed by email or phone.

• The customer is responsible for providing accurate details, including the date, time, pick-up, and drop-off locations.

3. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are provided at the time of booking and are based on the information given by the customer.

• Additional charges may apply for waiting time, tolls, parking fees, or changes to the journey.

• Payments can be made in cash, via card, or through other approved methods.

4. Cancellations and Amendments

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time to avoid charges.

• For cancellations within 24 hours of the booking, a cancellation fee may apply.

• Any amendments to the booking must be communicated and approved in advance.

5. Waiting Time Policy

• A grace period of 15 minutes is provided for regular pick-ups and 45 minutes for airport transfers after the flight lands.

• Additional waiting charges will apply beyond these periods.

6. Luggage and Personal Items

• Passengers are responsible for ensuring their luggage complies with safety and legal requirements.

• A1 Taxi is not liable for any lost or damaged personal belongings during the journey.

7. Safety and Conduct

• All passengers must wear seatbelts during the journey.

• The company reserves the right to refuse service to any customer who behaves inappropriately or endangers the driver or vehicle

• Smoking, eating, or drinking is not permitted in the vehicles unless explicitly agreed upon.

8. Airport Transfers

• Customers must provide accurate flight details when booking airport transfers.

• The company monitors flight schedules to accommodate delays but is not liable for missed flights due to circumstances beyond our control.

9. Liability

• A1 Taxi is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

• In the event of a breakdown, the company will arrange alternative transport at no additional cost.

• The company will make every effort to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

• A1 Taxi values customer privacy and complies with all data protection laws.

• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
